I am on my 2nd Skoda and now thinking of the 3rd and have had some very good offers via carwow (£4k off RRP) for a spec'd Superb 1.4 150 SEL but noted the news the Superb is having a brush up in 2017 so that it falls in line with Kodiaq eg new infotainment etc

 

Should I wait?

Check out Broadspeed.com they seem to be offering more like £4500.

Also consider the Sportline model, it's similar in price and Its likely to be more desirable than the SEL.

Should I wait?

No.

By the time it's available, which usually means a late summer delivery at the earliest, there will be speculation of what will be available the next year, a process to be repeated ad nauseam.

In the meantime standard items will become options in an effort to cover the cost of new items, some will just disappear. Colours and trim will change or be discontinued. Packages will evolve forcing you take additional options you may not need/want.

So if you feel it's time to change and what you want is available, go for it.

Go for it now. It's like waiting for the best laptop from Apple. A three or four year cycle of new, mid-term then new model again.

Pull the trigger.

I'd say no. Get what you want now before you end up in a cycle of, 'in a couple of months they are offering this...', etc... there will always be something new.

You may even get a good deal now if all these cancelled lease cars are hitting the dealership forecourts, the dealers with the jighest inventory will be offering some good deals to keep their stock rotating.

So shop around.
