I havent checked the wanadoo thing out but I reckon you should be getting a wireless router with it considering its a wireless set up you have subscribed to.

Agree with you on netgear routers we deal a lot with these at work and seem to be very unreliable I would say one in four fail and have to be replaced within 6 months. some within weeks. Thats why I bought a linksys.

Well, if my new modem comes with a single hardwired outlet only, I'm going to have to get a stand alone router. Trying to fathom out the wire diagram in my head for that. Would it be:

ADSL filter - modem

modem - router

router to PCs....

Trying to work out what if the modem is a USB only connection? I damn well hope its Ethernet, :D

You are a complete muppet sometimes you know that. If you had said you wanted a 4 port router I'd have sent you one down with the cable. Grr.

I have 2 wired ones going spare, catch me on MSN when you next can and I'll talk to you then. 1 of them I know works 100% as it's my old one that I used until a couple of weeks ago.
