I have just discovered the 12v accessory socket is permantly live,I have now want to splice into the fuse box in behind the glove box to find switched live for a dash cam supply?

Has anybody achieved this?Sorry for lots of questions ,thank you in advance.

There some un-used fuse slots too, both live and switched live. Forget exactly which ones are which though. A test with a basic multimeter would tell you
