Just spotted my old VRS for sale!

Featured Replies

I googled my VRS reg plate (it isn't taxed or insured) and found it for sale at a Skoda dealership up North.

They want £14.5k for it and are advertising it as having 20,000 miles more on the clock than when I let it go three weeks ago

Oh and they haven't added the colour maxidot, heated windscreen and spare wheel into the description!

Nice to see the old boy again though, they've polished hm up quite nicely.

20,000 miles in 3 weeks !! :wonder:

Seems like a poor sale advert - certainly not doing it any favours by the sounds of things

Sometimes they use a pre done spec sheet in the computer progamme, might say silly things like, disc brakes, heated rear window etc. Done by people that know nothing about cars????. The miles will be error. My VRS sold within 3 days of going on sale, were asking £2000 over trade in price.14 reg "VRS" plate.

I always take dealer spec sheets on used cars with a pinch of salt...they're just as guilty of adding things on as well as missing things!

Yeah I just noticed they advertise it as having "front park assist" (nope) but not "rear park assist", which it DID have!

Really slapdash with the mileage though, particularly as I imagine the idea customer for the VRS with it's massive boot and room for five adults would be a taxi driver.
