Hi I want to remove my front brake cailpers on my 2011 1.2tsi Monte as they are binding slightly and need cleaned. I understand its a hex socket but not sure what size. Can anyone advise what size I need.

I'd guess same size as the previous models that used that braking system.  Most people have a set of tools and when one size does not fit they try the next one - metric of course. If I was to try to be told the size of every nut/bolt/screw I was about to try to remove I think that someone might think that I was silly?

Just worked it out for myself its a 7mm hex socket. Brakes serviced
