Love the blue and beige combination (I may be slightly biased since my Superb II has this combination). Those alloys look great too. Enjoy it :).

Why is the Speedo showing in kilometres?

Because the vehicle is non-UK. Ireland to be precise.

Aaah that makes sense! Saw it was right hand drive and jumped to the conclusion you were on the mainland.

Cheers. I think it's the best combo of a limited enough choice. The standard 17s just look too small and the 19s don't look quite right IMO, apart from potential comfort issues as well on our roads. For the MkII I think 17s were the sweetspot and it's probably 18s on the MkIII.

Yo Superb150 just checking in with ya. Have you picked your new car yet?

Superb170 is on the 'mainland'. Just not the same mainland as us, they have their own mainland.

Not yet, waiting for the numbers to rise a bit as I hate really low plates. Might collect tomorrow or most likely Thursday. I was in the dealers today and it's just been PDI'd. Excitement is building now!!! What about you?

Great stuff, hope you enjoy. From what I saw yesterday of new registrations, dealers must be rubbing their hands with glee.

I'm picking her up this morning, after I drop my own in for a service and a water pump or thermostat replacement.

Collected it today. Impressed so far. Really liking the DSG and thought I never thought I'd even consider one before. Definitely glad I went for this. The paddles were a useful and cheap addition and I'll certainly make use of them too. Anyone that has any doubts about 150bhp not being enough, all I can say is that there is more than enough power and no less than the old 170. Slightly disappointed with a little stiffness on rougher surfaces but then again I need to drive for a while to make a proper judgment on that as my last cars all settled after about 5k kms. 18" wheels with Conti Sport 5 so that could be a contributing factor but still impressed with overall comfort. Touchscreen and car play will certainly make much easier behind the wheel and there is no comparison with the previous system. Also, the standard sound system isn't bad at all and although I had canton (albeit the older less advanced version) before I will certainly live without it.

Glad you like it. Must admit to being pleasantly surprised by the 150 DSG combination in mine.

also.. I noticed the engine got better at around the 2000 mile mark .. Seemed to pick up a lot quicker

I'm with you on the power, I came from an Octy 170 DSG and was worried about going down to the 150 DSG on a bigger car but I needn't have worried, it actually feels a bit quicker. Delighted with the standard sound system too!

Congratulations, looks fab.
