can anybody tell me about power steering problems, i just recently bought an 07 vrs octavia 2.0 tfsi and the power steering is not working, i am just looking to no about this issue before i spend more money than i need to...

VCDS is a third party diagnostic tool. However, unlike most cheap OBD scanners, it's been designed for use with VAG cars meaning it can tell you more information and do tests on some modules.

 

If the power steering isn't working, then VCDS will probably give you a number of fault codes which can be used to narrow down what the reason is. Hopefully this will save you from needlessly replacing components or spending time checking things that are fine :)
