Wheel spacers

Featured Replies

I was thinking about getting some of these but I'm not sure what I can get away with...I have a octavia vRS with 19" extreme alloys, thought maybe 15mm on the front and 20mm on the back. Anyone else done something similar with the same setup?

I've got 15mm on my front and rear, think the rear could take more though. I'm not running 19's tho.

Yep do it for sure. I've got 12mm each side all round. And for me it's just right. The backs will take 20mm each side no problem

Even on 19's?

Do you think I'd better go for 12 on front and 20 rear or 15 on the front?

Thanks for the reply's

Whatever width you go for, make sure they are hubcentric.

Yep mine work really well on 19's with 12mm on. I am lowered 30mm with H&R springs too..If I did it again I'd do 12 on front and 15 on back.

I went for the H&R spacers. Loads on eBay and much cheaper from the German tuning guys than over here. Some come with longer bolts but make sure they are domed taper and not the straight taper. On one of the links I've posted up a link to a couple of sets.

Will 15mm front and 20mm back fit though without rubbing on full lock with 19" wheels and stock suspension though?

Demon tweeks do hubcentric 15 front and 20 rear with tapered bolts for £75 delivered.

Bolts are NOT tapered. That are called ball head or something like

Dunno what's going on with the "quote thing tonight lol. Yea 15mm and 20mm will be fine..

Awesome thanks I'll order them tonight

Radius seat bolts are fine with OEM wheels. Taper seat are generally for aftermarket wheels. No rubbing whatsoever on mine with 15mm front and 20mm rear.

Here's a better pic of mine with 12-12 and lowered with H&R's

Looks awesome mate

I am puzzeled. As soon as someone asks about a wheel with a tiny deviation from original, a whole choir warns about non-compliance and insurance problems. But wheel spacers seems to be quite all right? I don't get it, spacers are strickly prohibited in Norway. But different tyre/rim variations are accepted within some given limitations.

Anyone familiar with the ETRTO?

And you're running 19's?

Yep - see link in post #3:

If you've read the numerous posts of here about wheel spacers, you'll also get people saying that spacers are dangerous and invalidate your warranty insurance etc.

Yep, I've got 20mm on the rear and it make a massive difference to the look of the wheels, how 19in get lost in the arches I don't know but they did before the spacers and looked odd.

Did you go for 15 on the front?
