For what it's worth I use Android Auto in both my Suberb and my wife's Fabia and have had very few problems - I use Spotify and Audible daily with no issues.

 

The only real problem I've experienced is while driving in Europe over the summer; changes to the roaming data provider would crash AA. It happened mostly when crossing borders.

i think on some platforms it works better than others. I have contacted Spotify - really didn't seem that fussed and suggested I contact bolero or whoever actually makes the MIB unit/skoda - they pretty much washed their hands of it.

 

it will never be solved I don't think, and I haven't got the patience to nag for years already done enough. 

Spotify's Android app isn't too reliable when just running on my phone, playing music over headphones! So I'm not expecting anything amazing for their app working over Android Auto anyway.
