I can not find any reference to main beam bulbs for a 2016 Octavia Combi 1.4TSI with halogen headlights. Usual suppliers are short on info and one denies the H15 (mentioned in this forum) is suitable for this vehicle.

Handbook lists the bulbs.

I was hoping for that. My old Skoda's manual does list them. I am unable to find a bulb list in the online manual for 2016 models. Looking at page 230 and thereabouts. General principles on fitting and some warnings about exploding bulbs. But I can not see any bulb types detailed.

It really is an H15, at least it is on my 2015MY 1.4TSI Elegance Combi - I took the bulb out and had a look as there is so much conflicting information and/or lack of information.

H15 does the main beam & DLR'S

Beware if you change them for a different colour/temperature bulb as the DLR'S will look a different colour to what they should as they are run at only 40% or so.

Thanks for that. What's the colour temperature description for a standard H15 bulb- I just want to buy a spare?

On Amazon they are between £14 and £49 each for standard Osram. Err perhaps I'll wait a while.
