FujiFilm S602 Zoom.

My old man is one for buying new toys quite frequently. He just got himself a Nikon D50 and gave me his old camera (the S602)

Oh yes.

I've got the 6900x which has a very similar spec and it's a damn nice camera.

I only paid 50 quid for it too which isn't quite a freebie but was nice at the time

Nice gift Lummox. Saved yourself a good

I got a fuji s7000 ....batteries last for ages ...really good quality and most of the pics will be a bit bright but none the worse for that........flash covers a fair distance...as someone else said very nice gift

Yeah know what you mean. couldn't do it myself. Both my parents had their own businesses and both went bellyup after about 10 years but I know some people who have literally made something out of nothing and respect them for having the balls to stick with it.

I had one of these. I bought it from the duty free shop, for around £500 IIRC, on the way out on a business trip. I owned it for a few days before it was nicked from my suitcase on the way back! Never got to know how good it was either...
