So got vrs with the bolero headunit tried to get Bluetooth to work in the options menu but all it does is mute headunit so would like to upgrade to sat nav unit what options do I have

Columbus or asmusden.

Columbus needs a separate bt box which you don't have as the stereo just mutes on button press.

Asmusden has bt built in but you still need a mic.

Just to clarify:

 

The Amundsen (RNS-310) never has bluetooth fitted, much like the Columbus (RNS-510) it'll need a separate bluetooth module.

 

The Amundsen+ (RNS-315) may bluetooth fitted. To check, you need to find a sticker on the unit that lists the MAC address, if it's 00:00:00:00:00:00 then that unit doesn't bluetooth and again will need a separate bluetooth module.

 

You can also add a bluetooth module to your existing Bolero which should cost less but obviously won't give you a built in satnav.
