I do wonder how they can offer the BMW 325i M Sport as an alternative at the end though? Listed as £28,225, more than 10k more!

The car I took a test drive in didn't have vented brakes, which at the time did suprise me, as this review took place in spain does this mean we (uk) are missing out again~?

Pretty much every new car in UK has them - you're probably confusing drilled and vented. Vented means there are 2 disks with vents running between them rather than one solid lump.

:saythat: Quite correct thinking of grooved and drilled, oh well back to the round room with the padded walls.

How does the estate have a higher top speed? Surely that should be the other way around?

From what I vaguely remember from a fluid dynamic lecture, all things being equal, air resistance is least with a looooong tapered tail.

As the tail gets shorter and steeper resistance increases until a critical point at which a steeper angle results in reduced drag. The Mk1 Focus Estate had a lower Cd than the Hatch too.

Alternatively, it may be something to do with the rear spoiler.

Remember the days of the Volvo 850 estate in the Btcc :)

Pity I didn't read this thread, I'm after scanning the bloody article  (SWMBO brother was in UK and took it back to me  )

Tell you what, after having a test drive last week in the new Octy, if the Furby wasn't parked outside, hmmmm I wonder. It is absolutely fantastic for the money.
