Fabia vRS - Trade In Value

Featured Replies

Might be thinking of getting rid of my 2005 Fabia vRS as I now need something a little bigger and more sensible (SWMBO is complaining...) but was only offered

Depends what you paid for it? If you bargain on 50% (ish) retained after 3 years then about £2000 in the first year is about right

What condition, what miles.......... book price on a trade in with 10k miles on the clock, stock car, in good condition, is £10k at worst £9.6k.

Unless you have higher miles or a scruffy car then I'd be looking for more.

:)

I was recently offered 10.5K on mine against a new Leon 150 FR (+

I never find trade in's very good, your best to sell it privately! And with the 1k+ you save spend on a hire car until your new car arrives!

If your not happy walk away and try else where. When I was trying to get rid of my dire Pug 206, I held my guns at the figure (which was not really high) and got what I wanted in the end, plus some discount off the fabia.

Feed you car details into this site in our Links section for an indication of the secondhand value of it.

usefull site denis! Mines worth

Depends on what you are trading againts and how much overpriced that is.

Best they will get for that on fourcourt is

According to WiseBuyer mines worth £6,878... 53 plate, 35k, average condition... I'm sure if I put that on Autotrader for that price someone would bite my arm off in 10 minutes!! :thumbdwn:

I'm pretty sure I'd get at least 1k more than that!
