Just bought a Skoda Superb with satnav. It also has a handsfree cradle to take my nokia mobile phone. The phone clips into the crable perfectly and starts to charge. When trying to make a call or recieve a call, I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. After advice as to possible problems as to save me a trip to the local auto electrician.

Sounds to me as if the Mic is disconected, or not working, first look for a small black tube sticking out from the visor or somewhere, then trace the wire making sure it is not cut or trapped, and should go to a box, with a plug and socket. if the plug is disconnected plug it in, and it should work.

Try giving the contacts on the phone and cradle a bit of a clean.

Also the cradle contacts are usually spring loaded so make sure they all go up and down OK

Do you know which model of Nokia kit it is? And if it's a genuine Nokia cradle?
