Hi everyone

 

I have used this forum before when i needed to change the front wishbone bushes on the wifes polo so thought that as i have just taken delivery ( last weekend ) of a Skoda Superb Sportline which seems to be a very new and for the moment rare model i wanted to introduce myself to the forum.

 

My car is the 2.0 TDi manual with the only options being metallic paint, full size spare wheel and heated front seats, the tyre pressure monitor has given a false warning on a couple of occasions already but i hope that it calms down.

 

I was a little concerned about how the 19" wheels and 40 profile tyres might crash over our third world roads but i am happy with the ride quality.

The Mx5 ( 2.0 ) will be for sale imminently if anyone is looking for one - I bought it to just see me through to getting the Superb.

 

I was offered a Sportline 190 Tdi DSG 4x4 in the red but it was a big price hike over the 150 2 wheel drive manual.

I see you have a Octy VRS , I was looking at one of those also but decided the Superb suited me better. Nice cars tho

I notice that the wifes Cactus doesnt quite get the same reaction........ haha. She loves it and i reluctantly have to admit to being impressed by it. Its a 1.2 3 cylinder Petrol Turbo with 110bhp that does over 50mpg and tax is only £30 a year.

Tbh I nearly mentioned it... I quite like them, especially in the acid yellow / green colour but my wife says no...
