Featured Replies

Hi,

My 2010 vrs TDi has just failed on a leaking offside brake calliper. Any tips where to get hold of one?

Have started the search but just wondered what others have experienced- thanks for any help

I got mine from euro carparts,i got the TRW ones that came painted red,any motor factor should sell them, sellers on ebay as well, not sure how much one would be from a dealer though...

Ok thanks for that. You wouldn't happen to know the part number? I've seen some painted ones on Amazon. Having them refurbished could be an option too, £45 plus £10p&p apparently.

My 2011 MY vRS is Bosch rear caliper and 272mm discs. Noting yours is TDI so perhaps they were only 282mm / TRW, if unsure you may wish to check before ordering.

Have read a number of people using these guys also for caliper exchange or rebuild kits.  I can't see the Bosch rear caliper listed even for my car reg but I'm sure they'd have it if you call.

I got a pair of the red TRW ones from eBay for £150. Can't remember the seller but phoned them as there was low stock and they had a pair left and gave me a discount on them.

I have a pair of petrol vrs calipers off an pre-FL for sale if they would be of use? They are green and fit the 288mm discs.
