Columbus auto day night adjustment.

Featured Replies

If I chose auto day/night mode. My screen is dark most of time. Only in very sunny day it switch to day mode. Is any way to change light level when screen is changing from day do night mode?

It goes into night mode whenever the auto lights turn on the dip beam.

Make sure you set the dipped beam to auto turn on to "late" rather than early..

They are pretty sensitive to turn on early i found

Thanks for help.

I changed setting to auto turn "late" hope this helps. Will check it tomorrow.

I'm in a bit of a dilemma here, see the sat nav or be seen by other drivers!

other option is just to set it to day mode, and then flick it to night mode if needed.

Unfortunately it is only one way.

Today in auto mode and light setup on late navigation was dark all day. It is first defect with it found in my new skoda.

Im 99% sure there are 3 options for the Nav.

Night mode all the time

Day mode all the time

Auto mode which is linked to the dipped headlights.   (light off equals day mode and lights on equals night mode. )

Yes RickTT you are right. That I said manual switch is only one way to get it work.

Auto switch is not "simply clever "
