I have a 2010 petrol vrs.

Over the last few days i have noticed a whirring/whining noise from the heater fan.

The heater fan works  on all speads.

Is this likely just to be wear and tear or the start of something more serious.

Most of the other posts i have seen, seem to involve no heating or total failures.

First thing to do would be pull out the pollen filter and have a good hoover around the fan. A stray leaf could cause this.
