do you rate dcc then gizmo?...

Normal for me, put in Sport for twisty A road fun

Suspension in normal, steering in sport. Tried all sorts of combinations when I first got the car. Settled on that as the best.

Mine also lives in individual. Steering always sport because that reduces the wallow effect which is made worse by the less responsive steering setting.

Suspension on normal except on long motorway trips where comfort suits me best. Only me and SWMBO in the car so no issues with the 'sea sick' sense that others have mentioned for back seat passengers.

Those settings plus ACC makes for a very relaxed trip on 200-300 mile motorway journeys.

I can notice a real difference between the settings but others have said they cant.

Comfort is like a good old Peugeot or Citroen. Bumps float and bounce. You hear the bump but don't really feel it.

Normal is well normal. Still on the floaty side of things but not uncomfortably so.

Sport is like the hard german suspensions. Stuck to the road like ..... but jarred from pillar to post with lots of sharp sideways twitching on poor roads. I avoid it like the plague for use on roads around here.

Yes, the steering is too light in normal (for me) so it is nice to be able to set it up to my taste.

I usually have mine set to individual:

Steering: Sport

Suspension: Normal

AFS Headlights: Sport

Climate control: Eco (I find it's less likely to disable stop/start due to temperature requirements)

DSG/engine: Eco (I prefer the DSG's coasting function which is only available in this setting)

ACC: Normal

I set the suspension to sport if the boot is well loaded, as it keeps the wallow in check on the motorway. SWMBO and the kids are NOT fans of comfort mode as it makes them feel a little seasick. On long trips it's usually normal mode, or sport if we're loaded to the gunwales ;)

I cracked a few ribs several weeks back. I've started driving again recently and the car has been lovely when set to comfort mode, the DSG box, squidgy suspension and light steering have made it tolerable.

I'd certainly choose DCC again as it makes the car so much more customisable.
