Beeping sound

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a problem with a beeping sound when I switch the engine on, it is the same sound you get when you have opened the door and left the lights on. This first started when I drove the car into the garage after a 4 mile run. The doors were shut and no lights on. It was constant but when I checked it later with the OBD2 it went off after about 30secs.I tried this 3 or 4 times and it was the same also there were no codes. The car is a PD100 1.9TDI.

Many thanks for any help,

John.

could it be the service indicator?

does it say INSP on the trip computer?

No lights up when noise is on. But all lights are working. Thanks for quick reply.

Have you left the indicator stalk in the on position for right or left turn?
