so this is what happened one day ...i got myself one K&N airfilter for the superb 2.5 v6 .....i havent installed it yet ...i was just wondering ...should i tune the car soon after i install it ?? i do not know if there will be any improvement in engine performance ....im just hoping its gonna be better than stock filter ...

dont know if there will be enough clearance for fitment ... it looks tight ...

Personally I wouldn't fit it, it wont add any power and you run the risk of killing the MAF if it's the oiled type, also unless you duct it to the outside you will be sucking in warm air, the OE solution draws enough cold air anyway, just get a good branded panel filter

As T2000 says it won't do anything for power...perhaps a bit more induction noise and possibly a little drop in power if it's pulling in engine bay warm air.

Even a stage 1 tune doesn't need anything other than the OEM filter.

It's eye candy for the engine bay so not a totally bad decision.
