As a new one year old Octavia owner, the car not me, will someone please explain what  MY16 and VCDS means please?  many thanks

my means model year.

 

so my16 is a car model year 2016

 

vcds is vag com diagnostic system and is the software to read codes and make adaptations on vag group cars.

The MY is changed is week No. 22 each year, so for example, in week 22 of 2015 the MY16 cars start coming off the production line
