I want brighter lights.

Been having a look on eBay. I am a bit confused with regards to fitting rally bulbs. Which wattage is best to avoid trouble with the police, nor do I want to blind people. I want them to look standerd white (not blue) with more brightness. I found these, are they ideal?

ps. The Octy Vrs uses H4 type, right? I currently have Osram Silverstar but the improvement was minimal.

Joking aside, I ran 80W H7's in my Ibiza with no problems.

Shame, are the 100w on normal beam like 55w on full beam?

Is there a 75w upgrade, something inbetween road and rally wattage? That would be perfect right?

You're probably better off checking out PowerBulbs which are a quid more for the Philips Rally lamps, quicker and with no ebay risk. Also get some freebe sidelight bulbs.

Why do you want Rally lamps? Check out Philips Power Plus, which are white and 150% the brightness of the standard ones and totally legal.

Has anyone tried Philips Power Plus esp compared to Osram Silverstar? Much difference?

The main beam bulbs on an Octy with xenons are what? H1? I'd like to upgrade mine as main beam seems so poor after dipped!

I got Philips Vision Plus and the free sidelights. I found a noticeable difference no longer that poor, nasty yellow beam more brighter and a nice crisp white light.

I'll get some Philips Vision Plus or are they called Phillips Power Plus? Got some mixed answers. I checked Power Bulbs and there is no 150% brighter bulb, looks like the Osram Silverstar (which I have) are the best legal ones to buy?
