Cornering Fogs

Featured Replies

Has anyone had issues trying to activate the cornering fogs on a Citigo??? A fellow member tried to enable them using VCDS at a recent meet but first couple of times the coding was rejected and the third time it was accepted but the cornering fogs still don't work. They activated both cornering options (Cornering & cornering with turn signal). Another member who was there said they had also had the same issue when trying to activate cornering fogs on a friend's Citigo in the past.  I have them on the Superb so know how/when they should be working so it's not that etc.....

Do you need to have auto lights fitted for them to work?

Car is a 2016 (Built May 2016) Colour Edition.

Simbo did Mrs G's Ex CitiGo Dave (13 plate ) and it worked fine, turning the steering wheel and when Indicating.

I wonder if Skoda have got wise and adjusted there software accordingly to stop the VCDS from doing it. Perhaps you need VCP ( think it's called that )

I have coded them in th past, the last one however wouldn’t take the coding, I am due to try again (newer software) soon to see if it is possible yet.

Yeah it was Simbo that tried on Saturday without success. He said he did everything the same as on yours but it just wasn't having it.

Haha I forgot about that. :D

I have cornering fogs. You don't need auto headlights. Mine is 2014.

Hi

You cannot code them on all occasions, you have to have a specific controller in the car, the basic one is not enough. Don't ask me how to separate, which car has or has the advanced controller.

I found this on up! owners club forum: 'Hi. You can't have everything! You are limited to what the controllers in the car are capable of. Cornering lights and comfort window functions probably won't work as the cent elec controller is basic.'
