Webasto Auxiliary heater service kit

Featured Replies

Hi. I have a skoda octavia 2010, winter elegance 4x4, with a factory fitted auxiliary heater from webasto. Part thermotop V. 5kw.

Lately the webasto locks itself, to the extent that i have to unlock it with VCDS to delete faultcodes. The faultcodes that appear is:

2 Faults Found:
01406 - No Flame
            000 -  -
             Freeze Frame:
                    Fault Status: 01100000
                    Fault Priority: 3
                    Fault Frequency: 8

                    Temperature: 64.0°C
                    Temperature: 61.0°C

                    Fault Priority: 2
                    Fault Frequency: 1

When i unlock it and start it it works for a while, and then disconnects again (the software dissapears from the computer, and i have to unlock it with VCDS again.)

I think i need a new burning chamber/service kit but it is alot of money (7000 NOK) and i was thinking about doing it my self. The problem is that i cannot seem to find a part number for the burning chamber that is the normal reason for this error to occur. Does anyone here know how to find the part number for the burning chamber without dismanteling it? i want to do this in one operation(only have one car that is being used daily).

Also: any norwegians around here: does anyone know where to buy parts for webasto units in norway? seems only dealerships have this opportunity.

I think any Hellanor dealer should be able to help you with Webasto problems.
Have a look in the pdf partscatalog here for partnumbers.
If you want to check prices and availability, try this company.  I bought my Webasto-kit there.

You may also call Mr Gjermund Hjell at Hellanor, tel 945 07 360.  He is their Webasto supervisor.

The parts cataglouge has got different parts numbers than what i know how to read. Any idea on how to navigate this parts catalouge?

I can not help you with that one.
So far my TTC has worked flawlessly.  Only had to contact Gjermund a couple of times to deal with a snag on the TC3 (app remote).

Hi

I have same problem as you and i live in Harstad in north of Norway.

As soon as i find out something more i will contact you
