Hi, just wanted to say Hello, Newbie to this forum but have found it very useful in the past.  Had an MOT fail today on my Face Lift  Black Octavia VRS 2011 for non working sidelights.  A trip back home few print outs later and a trip back then argument with desk monkey and chat with head tester then the Manager (Halfords) and all got sorted.  Thanks so much for the support posts on here.  

Love my Car.  Have had company cars BMW's, 3s and 5s, Audi's, Golf GT's  and Alfa's and owned XR3i and MG metro Turbo and I must admit my VRS is my Favourite to drive and the size of the boot is a huge bonus with 2 under 4's to cart around.

 

I'm a convert.

 

My Only change to the car is I removed the Chrome and Black Grill and replaced with a Black custom Grill and added a VRS badge.  Love the new Mean looking Black front.

Glad to hear the MOT was sorted. Presumably they mistook the fake sidelight bulbs in the headlights for sidelights rather than the LEDS!
