Aux drive belt length?

Featured Replies

I bought a new auxiliary belt from ECP and it seems to be way too short, does anyone know the correct length for a 2006 bwa Octavia vrs tfsi?

Sadly I can't read the writing on the old belt.

The one they supplied is 6pk955 and it's listed on eBay as fitting my car.

I never even tried fitting the new belt as it looked way too short.

Cheers

Richie.

Conti Catalog Lists 2 different aux drive belts for BWA engines for some reason. Edit the (-AC) must mean without air con so you need the 6PK1054.

The numbers are the belt length in mm. So 6PK1054 would be 1054mm against 6PK955 955mm.

Thanks for your help mate, I've looked back at ECP's site and the one I bought actually states the one I got is for non aircon, I wasn't even aware you got a bwa engine with no aircon.

Thanks mate.
