Front grille separating black plastic from chrome I

Featured Replies

Tried to separate grille components ie black plastic from chrome surround in order to replace black part with disastrous consequences. Chrome part snapped leaving me with a bill of 92 Euro to replace.

If you have to tackle this job give yourself plenty of time and arm yourself with a good Sharp flat screwdriver or two and take your time!. Start at the bottom of the grille and work up. It's tedious but the only way.

Hope this helps someone,

Out of pocket!

It's held on with 3m sticky pads. TIme is the key.

It's fiddly but quite easy.

I separated mine to get the chrome bit painted

There's a guide in my project thread with pics
