Superb.....Almost there

Featured Replies

Looking at Superb, Mazda 6, Ford Mondeo, new Peugeot 3008, Volvo XC60/V60, new 2017 Golf, Passat, Tiguan, Touran, Hyundai Tucson etc.

Prefer estate but could be hatchback, definitely not a saloon, and maybe SUV for the higher driving position. I'm after xenon/LED headlights, dual climate, heated seats, auto gearbox, auto lights/wipers. Although I could well end up with none of these!.

I'm not allowed 4wd, convertible, anything with an official fuel consumption of less than 45mpg, anything with official emissions of 160g/km or over. For tax reasons I'd like lower emissions and list price hence my current Superb - nothing comes close for low emissions and list price.

A Skoda Kodiaq SE Technology looks good in 2wd format but I'd like to see and drive one first.

Thats quite a spectrum of cars there! The Kodiaq could be interesting alright and it's after getting a lot of people's attention. Have you a shortlist yet and where is the Superb? I don't think your wish list is excessive and achievable in many of the cars you've listed above.

Awesome pictures Superb170, that interior is just the cherry on the cake with that color. The reason i cannot have a beige interior is it`s not an option anymore, unless you go for Alcantara which is a zero cost option but we don`t really like it or you option Ventilated seats for £625 which also means you need to spec the electric passenger seat at £350 which is a whopping £975. Wish i could justify that cost but i can`t really, suppose my only real choice is to bite the bullet and go Alcantara OR see if the dealer can source a pre registered one with that combination.

I think the chances of me landing one from stock a really slim to none existent TBH

Can i just buy yours :D

Oh okay, I didn't realise there was an issue with beige again! That's a pity. Is that a factory supply problem? The ventilated seats were a bit less over here (SWMBO was insisting on them anyway :) ) and both seats were electric and heated anyway on the Style spec. I can see how you wouldn't be jumping to tick the boxes at those prices!
