Bluetooth 3C8035730E in FL Mk2 Bolero 1Z0 035 156 G

Featured Replies

Edit: Car has Maxidot

Will this combo definitely work? Recent thread on similar subject suggested poor compatibility with some Boleros.  The bluetooth module is obviously a lot later than the car (and Bolero Unit).  2011 MY Car, Bluetooth 2014.

1. Any functionality issues?

2. Is the enough space behind climate control for the module or is foam surround to mount under drivers seat required?

3. Where does the internal GSM aerial get mounted - does it work?

Here is scan detail for the Can BUS and Radio

1. Any functionality issues? No, Should work fine

2. Is the enough space behind climate control for the module or is foam surround to mount under drivers seat required?

Under Drivers or Passenger seat if you want to do it properly

There is space under the top of the dash Cubby bin (foam holder not required)

3. Where does the internal GSM aerial get mounted - does it work?

Anywhere on the A-Pillar should be fine

Brilliant - thanks for the reply.

It's also worth checking the SW version on your instrument cluster.

Earlier versions are missing some of the icons that 3C8...E modules use.

Arr, ok. Here it is. Doses this help or do I need to look at a sticker on the unit itself?
