Leather seats cleaning

Featured Replies

As usual, apologies if this has been covered...

I'm looking for a good quality leather cleaner and sealant/protector for my Octavia seats. They have a few scuffs (almost like paint marks so assume they are areas where the leather is worn??) and some deep marks, the worst is in the image attached.

Please see the attached picture below.

Any recommendations welcome, but ideally nothing that would 'break the bank', so budget-wise less than £20/25

However I would make exception if it's a fail-safe product!

If it's actual paint, a dab of white spirit may help.

Otherwise, I find Meguiar's from Halfrauds is actually pretty good for general cleaning, conditioning and protection of leather upholstry.

Cheers, out of interest, do you guys use a certain sponge/cloth to apply the products?

I have a little round white sort of towelled sponge thing for application and a yellow microfibre towel for buffing, both of which I got from a mechanic I'm friends with but they sell the same things in Halfrauds.

That looks just the job - thanks everyone!

I use the Dr. Leather wipes and they are great. One car has lunar silver seats and I applied dye blocker when new and then use the wipes every month or so.

The Dr leather products have been known to have copied a fakes and sold so make sure you buy from reputable websites...I'm also aware this product come highly recommended particularly for the wipes.

angelwax - heaven for leather, use a nice soft brush and some white micro fibres works a treat very easy to use and makes your car smell like nice new leather
