Assistant settings reset every engine start

Featured Replies

Hey,
I've been an owner of new Superb Mk III for over a week now.
I tried to search for the information about my problem on the Internet (including this forum), but couldn't find an answer anywhere.

I've got a problem with assistant settings. I have Blind Spot detection, Rear Traffic Alert (with rear view camera), Lane Assist and Front Assist in assistants menu.
Front Assist is always turned on, while all other assistants keep returning to being off nearly every time I stop and start engine.
Tried to set those assistants through infotainment system, but those settings weren't kept either.

Is there a special procedure for saving those settings?

I've had a little more time than usually today in the morning. It turns out, settings are remembered as long as I don't turn on Rear View Camera.

If I turn on the camera (either using button or changing to the reverse gear), Blind Spot Detection and Rear Traffic Alert systems turn off.

Lane Assist seems to be unaffected by these actions and is always remembered (as well as Front Assist).

I totally don't mind Rear Traffic Alert, but Blind Spot Detection comes in handy and turning it on, every single time I reverse, is a bit irritating.

Now, there is only seat memory problem left. :p
Will try the tips from this topic - Model 2017 memory seats problems.

This could be a coding issues... I recall reading that people were getting the same as this when hooking up a trailer, (understandable) but once the trailer was disconnected they remained turned off.

Thanks for the tip. Will surely ask the dealer when I visit him after reaching ~1500 miles.
