Center console blanks

Featured Replies

Has anyone done anything interesting with theirs? I'm thinking of adding a couple of USB cables to mine for charging phones.

Just need to get the part number now

Nice idea - would you put in a socket there or just have a loose cable? If you're doing a socket, can I suggest something with a cover so it doesn't fill with crap when nothing's plugged in? And go for USB 3 while you're at it.

Buy a set of these stickers...

I have just tested my charger with a USB3.0 cable inbetween and can still get full charge (1.3A @ 12VDC).

Just waiting on some parts and then will try. Need to order some blanks up.

I was more thinking that if you're going to put in a fixed charger in the car to make it a USB 3.0 one - it'll still work with older USB 2.0 cables but you've got some forwards compatibility as more devices move towards USB 3.0.
