Window Tinter in Cheshire area please

Featured Replies

Hey all

Can anyone recommend me a really decent tinting company around the Cheshire area. I am going to get the rears done on my VRS but as I'm sure you all appreciate, it's a bit of a mine field.

I called a company near Trafford Park, out of curiosity if anything but the guy I spoke with was a bit.......pushy. Basically, questioning why I rang up if 'you don't want to book the car in'. Was a bit of an awkward conversation tbh.

So yeah, could do with some pointers. I'm after a top job obviously and warranty so anyones experiences are welcome. What did you pay?

Also, what's peoples thoughts on the best level of tint?

I'm unsure as to what would look good so any pics would be greatly appreciated especially those with a race Blue VRS.

Thanks.

Hi - not sure if they are any good but rather than tints on the actual windows (I had tint on my old vehicle and ended up scratching it when loading stuff into the boot) I have thought about getting this stuff http://www.solarplexius.co.uk/ - fit it yourself in about 10 mins... (or so they say) and can easily be removed.... Also appears possibly cheaper than tint as complete rear of Octavia estate can be done for £145....

Don't know if it's too far away, but I've used Ace Tints in Ormskirk a couple of times, on a Xsara Picasso and my current Octavia, very happy with the job on both cars.

I'll try to get a pic uploaded but the car is away at the body shop til the weekend.

Got the Octy done July '15 it cost £160 for rear window and rear side windows in doors.

5 year guarantee covering peeling and bubbling of film, obviously excludes scratches.

www.acetints.co.uk also on facebook with loads of pics of some of the jobs they've done.

Best recommendation I can give is that I'm getting my dads car soon and I'll be heading back to them to get that done.
