Can anyone help. I've got a 06 Octavia vrs in need to replace the rear exhaust box and I'm toying with the idea of a louder box at senible price Any advise would be good thanks ron

I find that friends that have followed the trend to go louder tend to regret it after a while as it gets annoying on long journeys and rankles neighbors.

I've gone for a custom system that on occasion can seem a tad loud. For the other 95% of the time I love it and it keeps the ten year old me very happy.

I went the other way and paid quite a lot for mine but I intend to keep the car.  With our other family car, we went to a local fabricator and had a cat back system made.  It's quieter than the Octavia, so less offensive to the neighbours.  I guess it depends on your budget and what you're willing to spend.
