Hose identification!

Featured Replies

Hello all :) I have had some issues with power steering in the past which had gone away until today, the steering felt much heavier again. I thought I would just quickly check out my PS fluid level before I order a replacement pump from a breaker...When I looked in the engine bay I could see the *end* of a hose just sat waiting for me on top of the PS fluid reservoir cap. I lifted it gently to take a picture. I couldn't tell where it started....Any ideas? Hoping someone will say its PS related in which case presumably it needs reattaching, topping up with fluid and will be back to normal....a man can always dream ;) Just to add, car runs fine except heavy steering, no dash lights, no error codes in VCDS. Really curious about this little fella.
