Have had warnings all this week to replace battery in my remote. Not sure I've ever had to replace a remote battery in over 40 cars, especially not after 14 months. Not a big deal at all but has anyone else had this on their superbs?

irrelevant for me as I'll switch to the spare key for the remainder of its lease (10 months)!

Yes... had it again a few days ago.... it goes weeks without an alert and then it will trigger..  Really poor - People say its the battery, however as these batteries don't charge, once the voltage is below a threshold it should alert all the time until its change.

well at least I'm not alone ;-) together with tyre pressure warning and windscreen washer warnings today (every time I go uphill) it's been bing/bong central in my car.
