I've recently bought a MY16 Octavia SE Business and was wondering if the screen on the Amundsen unit should automatically dim at night when I have the Xenon lights set to the auto or on positions? The only controls I can see for the screen let me set a preferred brightness but this is not dimming at night with lights on.

Hi go into navigation setup scroll down to maps  you will find the screen settings day/night or auto tick auto.

That's handy thank you, I now have the map automatically change to night colours when the headlights are on. However I still cannot find any setting to automatically dim the other screens (such as Radio, CarPlay, Media) when the headlights are on. The only settings appear to be for a universal fixed brightness level which I find is great on 'Brightest' during the day but needs toned down at night.
