Featured Replies

Hi

I am new to this forum,I have Skoda Octavia business Estate 1.6,can any one recommend a specific tow bar and recommended wholesale seller please, links of wholesale sellers would be greatly received.

thank you and regards Gummy Bear Cornwall

Gummy Bear, we all like to save a few quid but, these O3's are a bit Fn tricky in the towbar dept.

They need coding to make them work properly even, if you don't need all the functions it should have, the next owner might think they are there and start towing big stuff.

Just go to a dealers and get it done properly, mine cost £600

I don't mean to be short but, I've been here so many times before.

I also agree having driven an Octy with a non coded towbar system in my opinion its not worth the risk. But each to there own of course.

As above really, you can mix and match the iron work if you like/need a particular brand of actual towbar but get the proper wiring (genuine Skoda stuff is no more expensive than other so-called 'dedicated' systems) and get it coded properly. If you don't know

Good to ask the question but quite a bit of advice/experience on some threads like these threads if you have a bit of a search around
