Individual Record Question

Featured Replies

My car just had its MOT, and given the all clear.

When I left, a copy of the car Individual Record was on the passenger seat. What surprised me was that an extended warranty is listed on the individual record.

When I bought the car last year, the extended warranty was never mentioned by the salesman, so I didn't think the car had one.

So my question is what is the best way to confirm that I do in fact have the extended warranty on the car?

Why not ask what it covers as you'd heard different stories. They'll check your reg number and that could lead to a positive outcome.

Contact the dealer and give them your reg number. However the most likely cause is the MOT mechanic failed to clear the warranty check box from a vehicle tested prior to yours.

Doesn't a factory extended warranty show in the codes on the sticker under the boot carpet?
