Rear Power Supply

Featured Replies

I pick my car up at the end of the week, I currently have a 12V power supply in the boot of my car, and I need some help in finding a way of wiring in some power to the boot.

Has as anyone put a 12V socket into the boot?

Should be relatively straight forward, 5 or 3 door? @Updown789

Pretty simple, depending on the current draw you are expecting to pull through the rear socket. The easiest way to do this is to piggyback off the front socket and run the wires down the side trim into the boot. If you are expecting to pull anything above 60 or so watts I'd run a new circuit from the fusebox

If it's a 3 door too I can easily tell you which trims pull off and which are screwed into place

It's a 5 door unfortunately

Should still be relatively simple, just popping off the Internal sill covers and the boot trim, plus the centre console

I'll just head down to Westover Skoda and start taking apart a 5 door Citigo to see for you and then laugh when the monkey mechanics can't put it back together again

Any idea where I can find a guide as to how to do this?
