The 3D config site does not have Octavias. 

 

Are the options that are available on an Octavia the same as on a Superb? Basically, can I order the same car where the main difference is the size?

One would assume its due to the My18 facelift car coming out soon..

Spec wise.. a lot of the kit is the same to a certain degree..  - Dont forget UK cars / Eu cars vary from country to country on default specs and available options..

Seems to me a very odd question - I think you need to dedicate a few hours to test drives.

 

The Octavia will generally be ahead of the curve with the latest technology, the Superb will always benefit (in many peoples' eyes) from a superior drive that a longer wheelbase provides (& will contain a few more 'luxury' features, even if it does lag behind in the tech).

 

I was curious about the options/specifications themselves and not the drive. 

 

Seems in the UK that there are some specs on a Superb that are not available on the Octavia, e.g. interior options, integrated towbar, multi function steering wheel. 

 

I just compared the configurator for a Superb L&K vs. Octavia L&K on the UK site. 

Good question re multi-function steering wheel. Multi-function is standard on Octavia L&K (but without paddles?) - only available with alcantara seats but they are heated, so odd not to offer heated wheel??? (Superb has leather/heated & has optional ventilated seats).

 

Octavia has emergency call & infotainment online availability. This will no doubt come to the Superb soon as all cars will have to have emergency call by next year (I think).

 

In summary, they are not just different sizes of the same car - standard spec is quite different, it's not all in the options list.

 

Couple of notable differences that immediately jump out: Superb - 3 zone CC; Octavia - LED headlights.
