Seats question

Featured Replies

I'm thinking of ordering a 1.2 SEL estate, and am wondering about some of the comments re the seats not being very supportive, and whether the sports seats are worth ordering. Any advice welcome, cheers.

My advice would be to go for an extended test drive in one, it's the only sure fire way to know whether the seats suit you or not.

Even better still maybe hire one and use it for what would be considered normal day to day use plus your longest regular journey, there is too much going on during a normal test drive so unless the seats are really uncomfortable you don't tend to notice, also things like the mirrors and door pillars regarding view

Having moved from a Volvo S60...wonderful seats and suspension...I find the Fabia seats perfectly acceptable and the seat heating is just as good as the Volvo. More road noise than the big Swede but there are many factors for that, not least less sound insulation, and I believe tyre make/type can make a real difference. Mine is shod with Dunlop Sportmaxx 17s.

only a good test drive will tell you what you want to know.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to sort out a test drive in the next week so I'll see what happens from there.

Cheers.

I went for the sports seats and find them very comfortable, coupled with the DSG box it makes long journeys a breeze. Best to try it out though as it won't suit everyone
