Featured Replies

hi i fitted the kit and now my turbo has packed up the garage told me that cos the turbo spins faster the seals have gone on the turbo if i put a new turbo on will this happen agian. I have just got a turbo with 7000 miles on it and i dont what to blow this one.

Thats the most ludicrous thing i've ever heard!

Was this a private dealership or a Skoda dealer?

Sound like their just trying to scare you, there are many owners on this site with induction kit with no problems what so ever myself included.

Out of interest what sort of kit was it?

yeah i too have a CAI system fitted now since around june/july last year - no faults whatsoever

 what a load of rubbish. Someone doesnt understand what an induction kit does.

The garage are talking mince

They are talking rubbish,

Have had a CAI on my car for over 45K miles along with other mods and have had no problems at all.

typical garage

only stupid boost or old age should one fail unless came faulty from factory so dont be affraid to fit a kit like the Bmc CDA or similar

cos the turbo spins faster the seals have gone
