Ford escort 1.6 solar cabriolet £800ono

Featured Replies

I know it's not a Skoda but thought I would put this up here to see if it gets any interest.

For sale is my ford escort 1.6 solar cabriolet, the car is in good overall condition.
It is a mk5b but it has a slightly unusual front bumper, I believe it is an RS accessories item that was fitted as either a factory or dealer option, this is the only one I have seen on the road with this type of bumper.

This car is not concorse and has had paint in the past, the rear arches have had work however they are starting to bubble again.

The roof was replaced by the previous owner a few years ago and is in excellent condition.

I still have the original owners manual and some history see photo.

The car starts, runs and stops as it should, it is currently at 111,729 miles and may go up slightly as I am still using it on sunny days.

It is currently running on a set of Ford Sport KA 16" alloy wheels in black that are in good condition but have the odd kerb mark.

Tyres are on 7mm front and 6mm rear, fronts were only replaced last year and have done around 500 miles.

Car is currently SORN but will come with a year's MOT prior to sale..

I'm looking for £800ono, if I get that price the car will come with the original wheels (see last pic) that could do with a refurb, the tyres on these wheels are around 2.5mm.

I can send more pics if required.

Any questions please ask. Car can be viewed in Durham UK
