Featured Replies

Is there a newer version that the 12 I have installed?

I think v14 is the latest.

Dave is right - V14 is the latest. It will show up on the Columbus / VAG RNS510 unit as "8477" I hear.

I've got the update disk but not done mine to v13 yet. How do people update without draining the battery? I understand it'll take around an hour and not sure leaving it on that long won't drain the battery down.

Thoughts?

The battery will be fine. Don't worry about it.

OR... just install it as you're driving.  When you stop, it remembers where it got to and just carries on from that point.  Longer journey best, of course, but it doesn't really matter; I've done this everytime I've updated the maps.

Plenty of places in internetland to find the maps. Free or of course go to the stealers and buy a copy. Will it make my battery flat? No unless you have a very sick battery. On my journeys I have noticed quite a few differences from V13 so the latest version is a lot better.
