150 DSG diesel estate owners - road tax

Featured Replies

The brochure suggests that this model emits 121 g km of Co2 which puts it in tax band d £110 per annum. Do any owners have a different Co2 figure on their V5 document?

The 2.0TDI 150 with DSG as per the nov 2016 brochure is 118 co2 for 16 & 17inch alloys and 119co2 for 18s & 19; inch wheels in saloon..and in combi - 121 for 16 & 17 and 122 for 18& 19's.

If you want to double check - another option is to grab a reg plate off Skoda used cars and check that one on the DVLA site.

My 190DSG 4x4 is 135g/km.  Band E £130 currently.

My road tax reminder arrived today, L&K 150bhp 122 G/Km = £110

Thanks for your responses. On March 1st, I collected my new superb estate 150 diesel DSG SE L EXEC with 17 inch wheels. The latest brochure I have (effective October 2016) indicates that it will emit 121 g/km so I was expecting it to cost £110 to tax it in 12 months time (dealer paid for the first year). However the V5 has come through, reading 119 g/km, meaning £30 in 12 months time I guess?

Assuming the Chancellor doesn't do a nasty on all diesel owners!

Interesting, wonder why mine is higher, unless yours has a newer engine that has better emissions software in it.

My SE L Exec Hatch 2.0 TDI 150 DSG produced mid September 2015, Road Tax was £30 last October.

Having check the Superb literature for the estate I thought that the tax was the same for the hatch, my apologies it obviously is not, 2.0 TDI 150PS DSG 122 D.

Skoda had VED band issues in 2015, but luckily for them they sorted things out, unlike VW, SEAT & AUDI that were caught out with Euro 6 Emission vehicles late 2015 and had to change Co2 Test results / VED upwards with some vehicles / models, Petrol & Diesels.

Even buy back vehicles in a VED band higher than some business users were allowed and thought they had leased.

No Skoda involved with the 'errors!'
