As per title, I noticed today that when I adjust the volume of the radio/media via the steering wheel scroll wheel, the volume bar no longer shows at the top of the maxidot screen. Definitely used to be there. Any ideas why this has suddenly happened? Anyone else had a similar issue? It's the colour maxidot if that makes any difference.

I've had this before...seems to just be a sporadic thing.

 

The old turn it off and turn it back on again normally does the trick!

Yep... fired it up this morning and it was working again as normal. First time I'd seen it happen in nearly 6 months. Odd...

I know, there must be some strange software fault - is yours MIB1?

Yeah MIB 1, running the latest firmware for Columbus. 

I'm running MIB1 Amundsen, must just be something within the Maxidot? I didn't think it was serious enough to bother myself with a visit to the dealer. Car is going in a couple of months too anyway!

Has happened to my Amundsen too for few times over 3 years or something.

Just wait it out - it will come back eventually.

Mine does it occasionally aswell (Columbus MIB1) - always comes back though!
