I picked up my Superb SEL hatch last week and so far have been very pleased. The only issue I have is that there is no net on the underside of the parcel shelf. I found this to be a very useful feature on the Octavia and am now missing it. The net is clearly shown in a photo in the brochure and is not part of the separately supplied net pack. Do other SEL / L&K owners have this net (I assume it is not fitted for S and SE models as they are not listed as having the net programme)?

No they are not std on the L&K

 

i have aYeti one fitted but only used it once (yesterday) in 15 months.... and the carrier bags promptly slid out!

Looks like mine will be taken out.

I queried this back in 2015 as it was also shown in the user manual. Back then the brochure and configurator were a real dog's dinner of errors and omissions.

The brochure did actually state "It includes one horizontal and two vertical nets." which is what I got, albeit two sets, both sans parcel shelf net.

When I physically checked the parcel shelf there weren't any fittings where you could attach such a net.

I didn't pursue it any further as being inadvertently supplied with two sets of nets meant I could have vertical storage nets running along all four sides of the boot.
